• A standard asphalt driveway has 6” base. Usually made of lime rock or crushed concrete. The asphalt should be 1.5” compacted thickness.
  • Parking Lots and Small Roads require 12” of stabilized subbase with an LBR of 40, or 6” of additional base material. They are usually paved with hot mix asphalt at 1.5” to 2” compacted thickness.
